To make the Fusion Reactor fully transparent, here's the formula used to calculate your chance of obtaining a higher-tier GEM when performing a mixed craft.

Formula for Mixed Crafting

Let:

P = Total Power (sum of Power Index of all 9 items)
L = Lower GEM threshold
H = Higher GEM threshold
R = H - L = Range between GEMs

Then:

Chance[Fail]         = 1%
Chance[Higher GEM]   = ((P - L) / R) × 99%
Chance[Lower GEM]    = (1 - (P - L) / R) × 99%

If P ≥ highest threshold, then:

Chance[Fail] = 1%
Chance[Final GEM] = 99%
